Oekologie Studio creates immersive, learning environments.
Having a basic understanding of ecological processes allows decisions towards sustainability to be realised by empowering individuals to make better decisions towards a thriving future based on how fluxes and flows occur in the world around us. Oekologie Studio creates opportunities for critical & ecological thought using the Biotic Potential methodology. These processes enhance the ability to develop iterative models and adaptive thinking.
Resources created by Oekologie Studio keep sessions up to date with cutting edge issues and ideas
around the environment, sustainability and a future towards knowledge and care.
All works at Oekologie Studio are illustrated by visual ecologist, Aviva Reed.

Aviva Reed is an interdisciplinary visual ecologist. A visual ecologist communicates through visualising ecology - the ecologies of nature, humans and our place in the Earth; the ecosphere. Aviva works as an artist, consultant, educator and scientist. Her practice explores scientific theories from philosophical and ontological perspectives, seeking to unravel perceived truths and invisible realities that shape our modern age. Her work aims to explore time and scale in relation to one's self and ecology. Aviva uses installation, mini lecture series, storytelling and visual aids to communicate complex scientific ideas and evoke an ecological imagination. At Oekologie Studio, Aviva collaborates with scientists, thinkers, healing practitioners, humans and more- than- humans to create thought provoking prints and experiences for use in home & commercial design. Aviva works within the education sector at tertiary, secondary and primary levels. She has a decade of experience working with environmental engagement of diverse community groups. She has a Bachelor of Science (Utas) and a Master of Environment (MelbUni).
